THE CURE

  Toronto, Canada 08/09/04 (157.0MB Total)
This performance was at the Molson Amphitheatre in
Toronto, Canada. This 20 song concert is from the
Curiosa Festival Tour. This is a very good recording
from an FM radio broadcast on CFNY 102.1 The Edge.
All of the announcer's station identifications have
been skillfully edited out of this exclusive version.
The Band's lineup at this time was Robert Smith,
Perry Bamonte, Roger O'Donnell, Jason Cooper
  and Simon Gallup.

  Bern, Switzerland 07/14/95 (167.8MB Total)
This is the complete 26 song concert, performed at
The Gurten Festival in Bern, Switzerland. It is an
excellent audience recording with very little audience
noise. This was the tenth of eleven Summer concerts
performed by The Cure. The band played three new
songs from the Wild Mood Swings Album, which was
not released until the following year(05/07/96).
Also just six months earlier Jason joined the band,
Roger rejoined the band, and Perry switched from
  keyboards to guitar.
The Band's lineup at this time was Robert Smith,
Perry Bamonte, Roger O'Donnell, Jason Cooper
  and Simon Gallup.

  YESTERDAY'S GONE (remix) (5.8MB)
A song from Reeves Gabrels and Robert Smith.
Not quite The Cure, but close enough. This is a
bonus song from Reeves Gabrels web site if you
buy his "ULYSSES (della notte)" CD. In my opinion
this remix is much better than the original.

  DON'T BELIEVE A WORD (2.9MB)
This is a cover of a Thin Lizzy song. It was performed
live on a BBC TV Show called Re:Covered (7/7/02).
This song has also been played live at some Cure
  concerts.

  WORLD WAR (2.9MB)
This song was on the original release of the
"BOYS DON'T CRY" album. It was later dropped
from the CD version because Robert Smith hated
the song. He has said in interviews that he thought
it was the worst song The Cure ever did.

  FAITH (Tiananmen Square version) (13.5MB)
After hearing the news of the massacre at Tiananmen
Square in China, a passionate Robert performs this
version of Faith during a concert in Rome (6/4/89).

SIX DIFFERENT WAYS (Peel Session) (3.7MB)
This version of the "HEAD ON THE DOOR" song was
a Peel Session, recorded (8/7/85) for the John Peel
  Radio Show on BBC-1

  A SIGN FROM GOD (4.2MB)
A song from the Soundtrack of the Tray Parker film,
Orgazmo. Performed by Robert Smith, Jason Cooper,
  and Reeves Gabrels.

  PIRATE SHIPS (3.2MB)
A cover of a Wendy Waldman song. Recorded by
Robert during the Disintegration sessions in 1989 for
Elektra's 40th birthday compilation CD, "RUBAIYAT".
A cover song by The Doors,  Hello I Love You,  was
chosen instead and Pirate Ships was never released.

JUST SAY YES (Curve remix) (2.8MB)
This is the Curve remix, not included on the
Greatest Hits CD. Robert sings a duet with Saffron
  from the group Republica.

  SIGNAL TO NOISE (4.0MB)
Acoustic version of this B-side, not included on the
  Greatest Hits CD

  SPILT MILK (3.3MB)
B-side from Bloodflowers. Promo only give away
  from an online record store.

  MAYBE SOMEDAY (acoustic mix) (6.7MB)
This is the acoustic mix of this Bloodflowers song.

ONE MINUTE LOVECAT (Missy Elliot / The Cure)
The Missy Elliot song, One Minute Man, and The Cure
song, The Lovecats, are mixed together by Kurtis Rush. (3.8MB)

A NIGHT LIKE THIS (Smashing Pumpkins)
A cover of The Cure song. (3.3MB)
